About Eddie's Italian Cafe

Everyone knows that a good Italian meal can lift the spirits and transport one straight to the streets of Rome or the rolling hills of Tuscany. But if the journey to Italy isn't immediately feasible, Eddie's Italian Cafe, nestled at 104 Winners Ln in Longs, SC, might just be the perfect substitute. This small gem of a restaurant offers a taste of Italy without the need for a passport.

Upon entry, one is greeted with a warm atmosphere, where Italian art decorates the walls and the aroma of freshly baked bread fills the air. The setting itself feels like a cozy embrace, ideal for a casual night out or a special occasion dinner. Located conveniently in town, Eddie's is quickly earning a reputation among locals—and it's no wonder why.

The menu at Eddie's Italian Cafe does not disappoint, featuring a delightful range of traditional Italian fare. To start, many regulars swear by the bruschetta—a classic, yet here it achieves perfection with its fresh tomatoes and a hint of garlic atop crusty bread. Moving on to the mains, the pasta dishes truly shine. The fettuccine Alfredo, rich and creamy, has received countless rave reviews, while the spaghetti carbonara, with its smoky pancetta and velvety sauce, summons a standing ovation with each twirl. Seafood lovers are not left behind; the linguine with clams is a harmonious medley of tender clams, garlic, and white wine.

For those leaning toward something hearty, the lasagna and chicken parmesan are certain winners, each layering flavor upon flavor. And of course, no Italian meal is complete without pizza. Eddie’s offers several options, each with handcrafted thin crusts that could easily compete with those found in Naples.

Don't neglect dessert while visiting. Tiramisu stands out with its layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone—light and decadent at the same time. Many reviews pointedly highlight the gelato as a must-try, offering an authentic taste of Italy with every scoop.

The vibe at Eddie's is inviting, complemented by a staff that’s both knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. Patrons frequently comment on the impeccable service, where wait times are minimal and suggestions are plentiful.

In short, Eddie’s Italian Cafe is making its mark not just in Longs, SC, but in the hearts of its diners. The food feels handcrafted with love, the ambiance invites relaxation, and the overall experience is a journey any Italian food lover should embark on. Next time in the area, it’s worth stopping by to see what all the buzz is about—Eddie’s delivers on every promise of an authentic Italian dining experience.

Stopped in for lunch with my girlfriend. I have eaten here many times in the past and it never disappoints. Highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms!! I am a local and will definitely be back!

Eddies is open for business! One of our favorite local spots. Smaller dining room makes it difficult to get a table during peak hours, but be assured it’s worth the wait. Travis is great and manages a dining room as best as I’ve seen. The lobster roll is the best in the area IMO. Also love their tagliatelle with seafood in pink sauce, often a special on Fridays! ITS NOT CLOSED!

I have lived in the north strand for over 20 years and with the literally hundreds of choices of restaurants within 5-6 miles of this joint and i have eaten at most of them... well Eddies Italian Cafe is perhaps my favorite place to enjoy lunch or dinner. Great food, Great value, exceptional French Onion Soup and outstanding consistency. Five Stars for me all around.

We go to Eddie's quite often and we were just there today. We love the food and the service we get. The fresh cut homemade fries are always good and the lobster rolls are out of this world. It's a must try!
